The Ballerina

Using Photoshop Elements, I played with an image of my ballerina daughter using artistic/cut out to create an appliqued pattern. Machine stitching finished off this quilted wallhanging. It is hung by use of a dowel in the back pocket.

"The Ballerina" won an Honorable Mention at the exhibit "Figure and Portrait" held by the St. Augustine Art Association, 2010
