Amelia's Heron

Amelia's Heron in a quilted fabric collage mounted on strecther bars. The water was created using roughly cut blue fabrics which were stitched down. The heron began as a photo manipulated in Photoshop Elements. From the enhanced image, pattern pieces were cut and fused onto the background and stitched.
